How to Book a Vacation Stay
From browsing rentals to confirmed booking in minutes: dates, checkout, sharing your trip with a travel partner, and cancelling if plans change.

Find your place
- Browse /stays, or jump to an island page like
/vacation-rentals/bequia. - Open a rental to see photos, amenities, the location map, house rules, and reviews from past guests.
Book it
- On the rental page, use Book Your Stay: choose your check-in and check-out dates and number of guests. The total updates as you pick.
- Continue to checkout — you'll be asked to sign in (or create a free account) so the booking is saved to you.
- Review the price breakdown and complete payment securely.
- You'll land on your booking confirmation page, and the details arrive by email too.
After you book
- Your trip lives in the dashboard under Trips — dates, property details, and everything in one place.
- Travelling with someone? Share the booking: your travel partner gets an invitation link, accepts it, and sees the trip details themselves.
- Reminders arrive by email as your stay approaches, and we'll invite you to leave a review after checkout.
If plans change
Open the booking under Trips and use Cancel Booking. The property's cancellation terms are shown before you confirm.
A tip
If you fall for the island while you're there — that happens a lot — tell Ruth "what can I afford?" and browse homes for sale before you fly home.
