Your Journey turns 'one day I'll own a home' into a staged plan — affordability, goal, savings, requirements — tracked in the app and on your dashboard.
Your Journey is the heart of the CaribiDreams app: a staged path from "getting ready" to keys-in-hand, built from your real numbers — income, bills, savings — and updated every time they change.
What the Journey tracks
- Your stage — six stages from Preparing to ownership, each with concrete requirements to advance ("save the closing cash", "a mortgage must fit").
- Your buying power — what you can afford today, computed with the same bank rules our loan pipeline uses.
- Your goal — the home or land you're working toward, with the cash needed and your progress toward it.
In the app
- Open the Journey tab. A short onboarding (about two minutes) asks your take-home salary and bills — that's enough to compute your starting position.
- Your Journey home shows My Goal, your stage ("Stage 2 of 6 · Preparing"), and Your next steps — the exact requirements to reach the next stage.
- Tap into Journey & finances any time to update your net monthly salary or reset the journey.
- The Journey widget on your phone's home screen keeps your stage and next step visible without opening the app.
On the web
Sign in and open your dashboard — your Journey summary, goals and affordability live there, in sync with the app.
Ask Ruth
Ruth reads your Journey directly: "where am I in my journey?", "what's my next step?", "what can I afford?", "how much closing cash do I need?" — in chat or out loud with Ruth Live.
