Verify Your Identity (KYC)
One verification covers loans, listings and insurance: photograph your document, take a selfie, submit — usually minutes in the app.
Some things — loans, listing a property, insurance — legally require us to know who you are. Verification is a one-time, in-app flow, and its status follows you everywhere.
In the app
- Open Identity verification (you'll also be sent here automatically when a flow needs it — it's required for loans, listings and insurance).
- Which document will you use? ID card, passport, or driver's license.
- Photograph your document — front, then now the back where a document has one. The app reads it and shows you what it read.
- Take a selfie — a short liveness check with your camera.
- Ready to submit → done. Your verification status shows as submitted, then verified once reviewed.
On the web
The website's verification page shows your status and points you into the app for the camera steps.
Ask Ruth
"Am I verified?", "why do I need KYC for a loan?", "what documents work?" — Ruth can read your status and explain each step.
