Set a Goal You Can Reach
Pick the home or land you're aiming for — the goal builder costs it with real bank rules and tells you the cash needed and the months to get there.
A goal gives your Journey a destination with a price on it. The goal builder costs three different paths with the same rules a bank would use, so the number you chase is real.
The three paths
- Buy an existing home — price, bedrooms, appraised value.
- Buy land to hold — land price and value.
- Buy land now, build later — land now plus construction, costed with the value on completion.
In the app
- Open the Journey tab and choose your goal (or Edit goal on an existing one).
- Pick the path and enter the numbers you're considering — the builder shows Path to Ownership: down payment, closing cash, the modeled loan, and whether it fits your capacity today.
- Save it. Your Journey home now tracks progress toward this goal, and savings you log route toward it.
- On a shared journey, a goal can be funded by each of you — partner contributions count.
On the web
Your goals appear on your dashboard alongside your Journey summary; set them up in the app.
Ask Ruth
"Can I afford a EC$400k home?", "what are my goal options for land?", "how far am I from my goal?" — Ruth uses the same engine the builder does, so her numbers match the screen.
