Apply for a Loan

One application, your documents uploaded once, and our loans officer guiding you from analysis to approval — on the website or in the app.

Buying with a bank loan starts here: one application, your documents uploaded once, and our team guiding you from analysis to approval. You can apply on the website or right inside the CaribiDreams app — it's the same application either way, and you can start on one and finish on the other.

Before you start

  • Sign in (or create a free account) — the application saves as a draft under your account, so you can stop and come back.
  • Have your documents ready (photos or PDFs both work):

1. Job letter — or self-employed registration 2. Your most recent salary slip 3. ID card, passport, or driver's license 4. A utility bill (proof of address) 5. Documentation of any outstanding debts or loans 6. Six months of bank statements

Not sure what you can afford yet? Run the numbers first with Work Out What You Can Afford — the mortgage calculator and your Journey affordability check use the same bank rules the application does.

On the web

  1. Go to caribidreams.com/loan-application and press Start Application.
  2. Step 1 — Basic info. Your details and the loan amount you're requesting.
  3. Step 2 — Documents. Upload each required document — or reuse one you've already uploaded to your documents.
  4. Step 3 — Review. Check everything and submit.
  5. Track it any time at Dashboard → Applications, where you'll see the status and any follow-ups from the team.

In the app

  1. Open the Mortgage tab, set your numbers, and tap Apply for this mortgage.
  2. The same three steps as the website: details, documents, review.
  3. Your draft saves automatically; leave and come back whenever.
  4. Track progress under Account → Applications & financing, and watch Notifications for updates.

What happens after you submit

  • Ruth AI reads your documents and prepares a structured financial assessment — income, debts, affordability.
  • Our loans officer reviews that assessment and contacts you within 48–72 hours with your mortgage options and next steps.
  • You'll be asked for anything that's missing through Messages — reply there or in the app.

Ask Ruth

Ruth can check what you can afford before you apply ("what can I afford?"), explain any required document ("what's a job letter?"), break down closing costs, and check your application status once it's in. Just ask — in chat or out loud with Ruth Live.
